Winter Programs Registration
It is hard to believe we are talking about winter already, but we know how fast it will be here. The good news is that our winter programs at the Centre are also quickly approaching! 

We will be continuing to offer a hybrid collection of our programs, available both in-person and online. Registration for winter programs will open on November 20th at 9:00 AM. More songs, stories and literacy activities are only one click away!

Volunteer for Our Casino Fundraiser
If you’ve been looking for more ways to get involved and support CFL, you’re in luck! We are holding a casino fundraiser on March 17th and 18th at Century Casino and we need LOTS of volunteers. Join us yourself, bring your friends, or share the word.

Save the Date for GivingTuesday!
We are excited to announce that the Centre will be participating in GivingTuesday on November 28.

GivingTuesday is the world’s largest generosity movement. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a stranger, or giving to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.

Skip the Depot - Call for Businesses
Did you know that businesses, such as restaurants and cafes, can also benefit from Skip the Depot? Help us by reaching out to your local businesses and asking what they do with their empty bottles and cans.

Businesses can easily schedule pickups for recyclables through Skip the Depot, all while supporting our literacy programs. It’s a win-win - they reduce clutter, support sustainability, and contribute to a great cause.

We received a proclamation from our City of Edmonton's Mayor Amarjeet Sohi, making Tutor Appreciation Day official! Thank you for celebrating this event with us, and showing love for volunteers year-round.
