March Learner of the Month

We are thrilled to recognize Maria as our March Learner of the Month!

A dedicated mother of a 4-year-old, Maria balances her time between working part-time as a teacher, homeschooling her daughter, and actively participating in both online and in-person programs.

Maria’s passion for learning extends beyond the classroom - she regularly borrows and returns books, even requesting Spanish and French titles to support her daughter’s multilingual education. She shares weekly updates and photos, showcasing the creative ways she builds on program activities at home.

Her enthusiasm, thoughtful feedback, and commitment to literacy, language, and learning make her an inspiration to fellow parents and learners. Congratulations, Maria!

National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is happening from April 27th to May 3rd! This year’s national theme is Volunteers Make Waves.

Each volunteer creates a small ripple of positive change in their community. The collective efforts of volunteers cause these ripples to overlap and grow into waves. We’d like to thank our amazing volunteer team and volunteers everywhere for the waves they make in support of literacy, learning, and communities!
